Dish Network is up 2.2% after profits beat expectations in Q1. Subscriber-related revenue rose to $3.78B from a prior $3.7B, and net income was up nearly 11%. Net pay TV subscriber declined by about 23,000, though, vs. a year-ago net gain of 35,000. Q1 ended with 13.874M pay TV subs. Net broadband subs increased by 5,000 to bring the total to about 628,000. Pay TV ARPU was $87.94, up from the prior year's $85.73. Churn was 1.63%, down from 1.64% a year ago.
